Soundtrack in 3ds max 6
Hi guys,
Hardly an artisitic question about sound, but i guess it belongs in here.
I am trying to synchronise some sounds with an animation that i have already done in 3ds max 6.
Now i can load the sounds in fine, but they all go straight in at frame 1 and i can't seem to move them. Obviously i want themm akll over the place, so can anyone tell me how i can put a sound in at frame 200 say?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Neil
For the end product, do you want a real-time animation with sounds attached, or a pre-rendered version of the animation with sounds attached? If you're going the pre-rendered version (i.e. a video), then I would just attach the sounds in some video editing software. It'd be much easier. As far as the other way, well, I'm not the one to help. :)
Yeah, I don't know about doing that in 3DStudio itself.
You could build the entire sound file outside of 3DStudio and then import it in, and adjust to correct it.
Or, as prickly said, the easiest solution is to pull up Premiere, Vegas, ULead, Avid, or plain ol' Windows Movie Maker (Start > All Programs > Accessories). Bring in the sounds, and bring in the rendered animaion. Piece 'em together and export to WMV (you'll have to use another program to convert away from WMV, though).
