This may sound like an unusual question, but I was wondering if there are any legal implications in using satire within a game? (I dare say the same would apply across all forms of media but as this is a game development community...) I'm sure that naming other peoples IP within a game - without permission - is asking for trouble, but what if the reference is a little more subtle, but can still be identified by the player?
Parody: Fair Use or Copyright Infringement

Short version: It's probably fine.

Satire? What is funny to someone is always annoying for someone else.
How can we talk about the reason of our lives if we ourselves did not choose to live ?
