Hello. I play a game called STRONGHOLD CRUSADER. The game has AI characters in it, but they are too easy to beat. I belong to a site called Stronghold Knights, and there are some programmers on there, but they cannot find the pattern in the code which allows them to edit the AI and make it more challenging. PLEASE HELP! Can anyone find the code for the AI in this game, and figure out a way to edit it to our satisfaction??? PLEASE!
Do you actually have the source code for the game? Posting that would be a big help. It's not an easy task finding the AI code without the code.

Having taken a very brief look at the game website, I doubt very much that you would have access to the AI code for the game, unless you have full source code. The impression I got was that you could build your own maps for mulitplayer games, not for player vs computer games. If that's not the case, please let us know and point us to a source for the game code.

Cheers,

Timkin
Oh man. How do I get the source code??? Each AI has it own separate file in the game folder.
Source code is most of the time private property, so chances are that you won't be able to change the AI. What you might have in your game folder are either assets or compiled scripts for the AI...

My opinion is that you should either a) switch to another game or b) convince a bunch of programmers to do a total rewrite of the game, like a clone...
