Hello Is there such a thing as a conclusive tutorial (or maybe a book) for programming midi (sending midi events to specific ports etc) in c++/winxp? Some info about different events in GM and the structure of a .mid file would be nice to. I have used some midi to play and record music, but ive never really dug into the low-level mechanics of the protocol. That, however, is my goal now. My long term goal is to create a wysiwyg midi sequencer that enables me to easily edit .mid files in standard score musical notation style. It wont be anything fancy at all, i just want it to be a simple and intuitive editor that fills my needs. Thanks in advance //Emil
