I got LaMothe''s "Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus", some gift certificates to Barnes & Nobles, 2 cases of RedBull, a t-shirt, poster, and 3 stickers from thinkgeek.com, and a load of cash. While I didn''t need LaMothe''s book to learn about DX, I wanted it for the math, physics, and collision detection, and it is chick full of it :p.
