This isn't really game related.........
but I think there could be some programming involved. Ok. My company wants to start making movies as well as games. Since none of us can act and we don''t have the money to hire any good actors, I was wondering if I could animate our movies using the CGI language. Is that possible? Thanks

Geez, get off it already.
John1 :
CGI = Common Gateway Interface.
This has nothing to do with computer graphics. Go look it up if you want to.
If you can''t afford to hire good actors, I seriously doubt you''d be able to produce computer animated movies of acceptable quality. It IS that expensive.

Well CGI is still a well known slang for computer graphics of movie quality.
True. But the CGI language?? I think he probably saw a book on CGI programming and thought it was to do with Computer Generated Imagery. That''s why I pointed out that CGI stood for Common Gateway Interface.

Something to check out if you want to make cheap movies without actors is using the 3d engines from popular games such as Half-Life and Quake and making movies that way, the technique is called Machinima, and you can find out a bit about it here:
http://www.machinima.com/
Check it out, you might like it (and it is possible to do it for very very low cost)
