I NEED HELP, PLEASE
Hi, my name is Aylwin. I am currently taking summer school. I am taking a requrement class (For graduation) called Career Pathways. Our final project, which counts as a huge portion of our grade is to interview a person with the specific career we desire to have. I chose to become a Game Designer. I've had this dream sinec 7th grade. But now, this interview is going to decide if I get an A or a B. I've requested a 20-simple question interview from Nintendo, Ubisoft, Konami, and Square-Enix. But I've been rejected by all of the companies, apparently all their Game Designers are busy, and I understand. They did suggest that I post my request in a Forum. Now, I am hoping that a Game Designer (must have working experience) can respond to my request. It is only a 20 question interview, most questions can be answered with one sentence. Unfortunately, I need a name turned in by this Friday, and must turn in the Interview by mext Wednesday. I also need a Company letterhead from the Designer or a calling card, or any type of information I can use to prove that I did not make up a person. Thank you. Hopefully somebody will reply.
I think every kid has to do this in high school... and you've made the cardinal mistake: being honest. [wink]
When I had to do the same thing in high school I interviewed my dad. [grin]
I hope someone on this forum can help you though.

Right now game dev is more of a hobby, so I can't really help you. My advice would be to try to find a smaller company (you said you had contacted Nintendo, Ubisoft, Konami, and Square-Enix).
Maybe a smaller independent company might be more willing to help out. I can't promise you anything, but something like Spiderweb Software or GarageGames might be more willing to help. Otherwise look around for some indie game companies and send off as many emails as you can, and hope to find someone nice enough to help out.
