Another factor might be xbox live and multiplayer on consoles. That was the main reason I played PC games exclusively for a long time, until xbox live.

If they would make a keyboard and mouse for consoles, it's all over...well, not really...but that would take away PC's input device advantage for more complex games (RTS and I have a few friends that refuse to play FPS without a mouse).

Heh, guess this shows how out-of-touch I've become with the industry lately. :)

I wonder if the scope/availability of information that was at pcdata (publicly, I might add) is the same at NPD...
