First of all i would like to thank everyone who gave me good advice. Secondly i think this whole community has a serious problem. The problem i am refering to is the hatered of newbs. I mean god this is suposed to be a message board for people with problems, and have more advanced users answer these problems they have. I had a simple question...does anyone have any information on programming? Im sorry if the way i put the question was rude to some of you. I meant no disrespect...but i mean you would have all had to start off somewhere...and i did look on the net in search engines and asked other people but that wasn''t working so i thought that maybe if i go on a message board someone might be nice and give me some vital advice about my subject. I found out the hard way that MOST programmers are nice...while others for some reason hate newbs...Oh well someone told me to keep asking questions so i will...screw all the rest of you newb haters...well im going to end this by telling everyone thanks and i have decided to start small...Qbasic in 21 days for me...barrowing it from freind Good bye all! I notice it is always anonymous posters who say immature crap like that. I don''t mean every anonymous person when I say this, but some just don''t have the guts to say something with a real name. Some people (NOT ALL) really need to grow up. We all started as newbies, and you Mr. Anonymous, I would like to see how you have contributed to this community, but you would have no answer to that. Get a life, and don''t make the person feel worse. In a word, grow up.

Yeah, a promising future developing Q-basic DOS games. I think you should realize what you are saying, before you blurt it out. That is just my opinion. Another thing, I'm not positive, but if I am correct most companys will require your speaking skills to be above a 3rd grade level. Once again I am not sure, just guessing!!

Well, no its not. That''s leech mentality. Maybe you didn''t mean exact what you typed; The idea of a board such as this is for people to share what they are learning, when two people work on or with a problem better solutions are found quicker & easier. When a person expects their questions to be answered by someone with more knowledge they''re inconsiderate and overly self-centered. You might anticipate talking with another newbie looking (and finding) such information, as you c(sh)ould also be doing.

I haven''t looked at it, but there''s a "New? Start here!" link on the main gamedev page. And that''s the reply you should have gotten the first time around...
