Is there any program that catch sound, which is heard on speakers(mic+line+wave out), in file ? Thanx
Im sorry, I cant point you to a program that will directly do that, but many sound cards come with the ability to treat the overall audio feed as a source. My Audigy 2 ZS did so, as did my SB Live!, and my current, more pro card, my Audiophile 2496 does so as well, so I just open up sound forge, and go to settings, and set my recording source as the Main Mixer. The Creative cards call it the "What U Hear" option.

Just so you know.

Hmm I have SB 128 and also I have as recording option Stereo Mix that threat output as recording chanel. But that doesn't work as I want
I'll try to explain why I need it:
Well I have a program that is attached to microphone input and ads to it varoious effects from pitching to reverb, flanger etc. Microphone is muted so program outputs effected voice on speakers.
I made several songs and when I playback them I talk with effected voice mixing it in real time with playbacked sound.
But if I setup Stereo Mix as recording channel, Sound Forge record just WAVs that I made, without sound from microphone because recording is setted to Stereo Mix and not Microphone.
If I buy another one sound card and output from card 1 put in line-in from card 2 then I have desired effect. Then it's a piece of cake to record from SForge.
But I need a program too.
Anyway thanks krikkit. At least I updated my sound card drivers [smile]
Just curious.. why don't you just lay down your tracks seperatly into sound forge and add effects to the vocals after you record them, rather than try to do them real-time as you record?

If real-time monitoring of vocal effects is a must, I'd suggest you purchase an outboard higer-end audio interface with support for insert effects if you want to run them in series.

Now, I've never used sound forge before so I don't know if it supports multiple tracks/channels. If not, take a look at Kristal Audio Engine or Audacity. Both are free applications. Using one of these, you can insert your pre-recorded music tracks into one channel, then record your voice into another (while monitoring the pre-recorded tracks), then mix it down to one track.
