I found a nice little goldmine of textures at texturebin.com (requires registration, but I would say that it is worth it!).
The link to the "Demeter Terrain Engine" no longer works, it appears the site has been closed.

The Truevision that is listed under engines is not the Truevision3D engine, it is the Truevision Gnome modeller. The real Truevision3D is located here:

the axiom3d link seems to be borked. Also, for C# 2.5d Engine goodness, you could take a look at the FlatRedBall engine :-)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ...
to me it seems that this TrueVision is about as free as the Unreal Engine (Version 2):
there's a binary version available for personal and educational use only.
You are not allowed to redistribute the software so for the competitions it is pretty useless.
I'd remove it from the list.
