If i am the server and I want to send a packet to all the client, do I have to loop through numberClients times and send the packet to each client address or is there a way for me to just send once and everyone will receive it ? Well, you can broadcast to your local subnet, broadcasts don''t pass routers though. You can use something called multicast, but it is not yet widely available. From talking with Bob Quinn, it sounds like less than 50% of home users have access to Multicast currently.
