Maybe I have done something wrong. I use Morphix, which is Debian based. After I execute
 apt-get -f install
I saw it remove some gnome* , then I can't get into Gnome after I logged out. What happens? Any help?

Can you go onto the command line and use apt-get from there to get a fresh GNOME install?

I'm a Linux noob who uses FC3, but that might work.

maybe apt-get install gnome, or apt-get -r install gnome. i believe the -r flag is to reinstall a package. i'm still not very familiar with debian and apt-get.
This space for rent.
I just used dselect to install ~300 Mb of things and then I can get into fluxbox now.
I suppose I can now get into gnome because I used gdm to login.

Thanks everyone.
