There''s are several free online books you can check out at www.informit.com Might have to sign up, but that''s free too. They have Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days there. 2nd Ed. I think. Read it. It won''t teach you everything, but it''ll teach you the basics of C++ programming. Then go pick up a book on game programming... That should get you started with Win32 programming (assuming you''re planning on developing for Windows) or whatever platform you''re using.
