I''m entirly new ot programming and want to learn c++ can anyone recomment where i should start because people keep on giving em crazy links to stuff i have no clue what it means and or does. I want to eventually start game programming but off course that is going to take some time before that... Anyone who can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Links, commments, or well anything is useful. Also if you want ot email me my email is gorf_rules@hotmail.com and my icq # is 96843710 thanks Gorf
There''s are several free online books you can check out at www.informit.com Might have to sign up, but that''s free too. They have Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days there. 2nd Ed. I think. Read it. It won''t teach you everything, but it''ll teach you the basics of C++ programming. Then go pick up a book on game programming... That should get you started with Win32 programming (assuming you''re planning on developing for Windows) or whatever platform you''re using.
