I didn't realize that, haven't been following it too closely. It'll be interesting to see what they do with it.

I actually kinda liked FFX-2. Though, there was room for alot of improvement.

As for any previous editions, I thought the worst was FFVIII where you had to draw magic from the monsters. Nothing worse than getting to 99 in fire, then coming across a new one with fire 2, and having to do it again. I remember battles lasting for something like an hour where I had killed all but one monster and instead of attacking it, just drew from it.
