Shareware vs commercial - Game
Now, when i have made my game (if i ever make). Should i sell it shareware, or commercial ?. That's the question... Nothing special... [smile]

What do you mean, sell shareware or commercial? Shareware refers to software that you share, for free. Often companies distribute a shareware version for free which is limited in certain ways and which can be upgraded to the full version for a fee. But this is all part of their commerce.
If you want to distribute your game for free or try to sell it for a fee, that is entirely up to you.

I believe what he means is, should he try and sell the full game through retailers, or distribute free demos with the hopes people will pay for the full version after.
Well, chances are you will not be able to find a publisher with any real retail connections for what I'm assuming is your first big game. If you come out with a killer game, I would suggest checking out stuff like Garage Games. They publish independent titles, with a great royalties percentage. Or you can just try doing it yourself, but creating a website with some sort of 'store' system.
But this all depends really on your game being AMZAZING! It's hard enough getting people to pay for truely spectacular commerial PC games, let alone independent ones.
