General comment on head-post structure:

The ARTISTS WHO WANT TO BE HEARD section needs hyperlinks and anchors; it's getting really long. Please consider marking each artist section with an anchor and hyperlink the names at the top of the list.

Erm... Sorry, but I couldn't say the original post isn't using anchors already, even if I really wanted to. Did you even click the artist names in the alphabetically ordered or the latest added list?

DavW: adding an artist takes some time (believe it or not, but the list is not that trivial to manage on HTML level) - I'll probably handle your entry tomorrow since I'm pretty short on time at the moment.

Alright - added your information, DavW. Let me know if there's something you don't like.

About the format of the original post: I updated it a bit to make it even more user friendly; added a "news section", which will serve to record all updates by date.

A new rule that isn't written, but one which I intend to enforce (and have been enforcing silently thus far): no matter how often new artists are posted in this thread, I won't update the original post any more often than every 24 hours. And when I do, I'll be adding up to one new artist at a time (for every 24 hours). This is to give each artist at least some time on the front page (in the title of the thread). Updates to existing artists will not constitute a change in the thread name. I made up this simple rule to complement the not-so-heavy traffic in this forum.

Also, all artists that are actually looking for a project, will be added in bold to make them more visible - this is to allow easier identification for potential seekers of musicians.

NOTE: don't be afraid to PM me updates or commentaries on your entires

(as some of you already have). I can't promise an instantaneous response time, but I will most certainly do my best to comply.

hey, you're right. My sincere apologies. The names are not underlined or even colored, so i didn't think to click them. All the other links are yellow (?)

For me, those are yellow as well. Tested in Firefox, Opera7, and IE6.

Comment:
The seeds were planted early on, a penchant for experimentation,
creative problem solving, deep organizational psychosis, and unique
ear for the world. Over the years it grew out of guitar based music
steeped in effect pedal ethics, ambient experiments in feedback and
noise, taken to the extreme with no-input pedal board noise feasts and
finally ending up being implemented as sound effects in video games.
I look back over the development of sound in my life and it seems like
such a natural progression.

At the crossroads of a career change I asked myself:
"Is there a place that I will be rewarded for making weird noise?"

Like the Wizard of Oz, my world swiftly returned to the pixelated
technicolor landscape of my youth where for days on end I was
transported to alien lands, seeking untold fortune, submersed in a
sonic landscape of squonking bleeps and sqeeking blops, fending off
challenge after challenge in an endless stream of disproportionately
oversized end-bosses on my way to the goal that lie always just out of
reach.

It was here that I could find my place in life...the decision was clear.

Since then it's been a steady stream of experience, determination, and
hard work.

Late nights spent sculpting sonic goodness out of raw materials,
coffee addled, sleep deprived, phasers set to kill. Sounds sourced
from nature, molded by man & machine, the power of the universe
unlocked in a waveform. MWUHAHAHAH!

Show white for me in Firefox, IE6, Safari.

We're talking about the ones under "Artists looking for a project"

Artist name: Mr. White Link

Aight, guys - what are you talking about :)?

Here's what I get in FF and IE6:

IE6: all actual links are yellow, all anchors are white and do not change color while hovering the mouse over them

FF (on Windows - in case that makes any difference): all actual links appear yellow, all anchors are white, but change color to bright blue while the mouse is hovering over them (this is what you're seeing, Avatar - take a look at the bottom of the browser window - no URL displayed there. I have no idea why FireFox would do this...)

Hey I modified the quality of my Dire destiny track. It will be a little time, before I put the others back on, but quality is more important than quantity:). Here is the URL:
