I posted a while ago about this topic but no one really answered me. I was wondering what method''s people are using to put their models on the screen? I don''t want to let OpenGL take care of this for me as I am hoping that I will have full control over everything that is going on in the engine. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Shawn
Sorry to be a dick but, you deserve the answer ''I use Direct3D''

Try asking a more specific question, and you''ll get an answer.
Do you even have an idea of what you are trying to accomplish?

Do you want 3D rendering algorithms? Stuff to do flat, gourand(sp), phong, and/or textured rendering?

3D geometry organization?

Ahh, what ever API you wanna use is fine. I don''t really care either way, I just chose OpenGL because its what I first saw. Whatever gets done what you want it to is good enough.

I was just wondering about how to do backface removal on the models?? Since there are so many polygons that can be involved, it seems like a bit of a harder task.

Thanks
Shawn
