Contacting nehe
I want to send some news to nehe and when I point to "submit news" a messages says "please ask questions in the forum before emailing me"
Why and what should I ask?
He means if you have some sort of question about one of his tutorials, you should ask it here rather than emailing him personally if possible. This is obviously to save him time/effort anwering repeated questions, and can also get help for you faster, since other users may be able to respond faster than NeHe himself.
Ask questions about anything you need clarrified from the tutorials, although it's best if you have a look through the existing threads and any debugging information provided by your compiler to try to solve it yourself first (you learn better that way). Be sure to specify what compiler you're using, any error messages recieved, etc when asking for help, to enable people to give you the best answer possible.
Now, if you havn't got a question, and genuinely want to submit a news item that you consider appropriate, you can send an email. It's basically to stop people asking him for help when unneccesary.
