Right...I am interested in learning socket programming in C++ for, you guessed it, games...I will probably not ever get there but I want to learn at least the basics for, if nothing else, to complement my other C++ knowledge... I already know not to jump right in and do everything in your first try. I already know not to try far-out ideas and I already know that I am learning and don't know everything and am thus, immensely n00bish and stupid... that beeing said... are there any step-by-step this-is-how-it-is-done-and-why-it-works tutorials (for free) out there? I already have a place to put the socket where I have 5mb/day. For the beggining (chat clients) I was told that is probably enough. Thanks ahead of time... -Ajain
