Crossover XP-Win98
Haai everyone, I've have a problem connecting 2 computers directly to each other. I've put a crossover cable between them. One pc is a XP Pro. wich holds 2 ethernet cards one is for the local office network and the other goes the my win98 pc. I just can't connect to my win98 computer... Can anyone help me with this?

What are the IP addresses, gateways, and netmasks for the two machines? Are you using "ping" with numeric addresses to check connectivity? Are you sure the crossover cable is good?
enum Bool { True, False, FileNotFound };
I agree, my first guess would be that you haven't properly configured the two cards.
The cable works I tested it. I'm using the ping command with numeric addresses.
The ip of the local network card of xp machine changes because it's connected to a DHCP. But the card to the win98 pc has ip 192.168.1.90. The win98 pc (with only one card) has ip 192.168.1.91.
