What should be included in a tile based world editor for a 2d mmorpg
As the topic says. what should be included in a tile based level editor for a mmorpg. So far I have much coded, but I want to make sure I have everything included befor I start on the engine. -Layers -Place Tile -Delete Tile -Place Object -Delete Object -Unlimited Undo -Unlimited Redo -Auto Fill (width by height) -Auto Generate (width by height) -NPC Dialoges -Scripting -Saving -Loading I am sure that about covers everything. Just want to make sure.
Well, resizing the map would be a nice feature and copy/paste, if possible (copy different segments of a map to another one).

How about a Tile Importer and/or Editor for importing/creating custom tiles?
Furcadia is an free isometric tile MMORPG that allows people to make their own maps and upload them to the servers, their map/tile/script editors can give some pretty good idea's about what to include.
