Here's my latest computer graphic work. His name is "Homunculus". Translation - "the little man". Homunculus has a rich tradition in history and again in modern psychology (where he represents the human body as it would look if it were proportioned to the area each body part has in the brain). Its... interesting. It might be a good idea to put some clothes on him though. What software did you use for the modelling?

Its pretty good, great level of detail. Not knowing the porportional form of the Homunculus, i can't really comment much. I'm sure you'll eventually get around to throwing some clothes on him. ;D
Homunculus was also used in primitive biological models of genetics a few centuries ago. The basic idea was that there was a tiny man in each human sex cell, who would grow to become the child. This then naturally split the bioligists into two camps, consisting the homunculists, who believed the tiny people lived in the sperm cells, and the ovists, who believed they lived in the eggs.

A bit tangential, I know, but just thought it would be fun to point out more places homunculus has appeared. :-)

Thanks all. I am using Blender 2.36. I think I am now a convert from 3DS Max.
very interesting - excellent body model. the only thing I don´t quite get is the snout... what´s the polycount? it looks fairly detailed..
