There's this convention center here where I live and I find myself there a few times a month working on various events and there's a huge freight elevator big enough to transport two cube trucks side by side. It has huge doors and when you get in this thing you feel like you're on the set of a Star Wars movie or something. I recorded the doors opening and closing using a mini disc and shotgun microphone. There's no fancy alterations on them, just volume boosing and a little EQ. Some are inside and some are outside the elevator. It's a low quality mp3 but I'll make the 16bit wav file available later for anyone who wants them. I'm giving this away free because I really love the doors and how they work and sound.
