Hey, I would love to have you guys check out my 3D tile engine and tell me what kind of frames per second you get. Its at: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~pullis and its the only file on the site, the 3D Tile Engine.zip Thanks Possibility
8fps on a Voodoo3 2000(overclocked to 183MHz(3500))

What kind of computer do you have to? I also have a Voodoo3 2000 PCI but i get around 30fps. I have a 650Mhz athlon w/256megs ram.

And what did you think of it too, I know its pretty simple so far.

I gots a PII 450 with 128mb ram and an ATI RAGE LT PRO, the screen turns black then sends me back to windows =(

Damn, that sucks that is not working on your comps
It is for directx 7 and I used Visual Studio to write it.

It works on mine but I get 8 fps too.

My comp is rather slow when compared to yours so..

PII-450 128 RAM + geForce2 32 MB DDR.

Btw what do you mean by Visual Studio (I could be wrong but isn''t Visual Studio a whole suit including VB, VC++, InterDev, Visual Fortran and so on)?
I got 3-5 fps with my AMDK6-2 350,32MB RAM, Voodoo3 2000 PCI. Are you using D3D Retained mode?
Forget about that buggy code, let's start all-over - from scratch. Let's go!
I had 12fps steady on a P3-500MHz with 192MB of RAM with a VooDoo3 (16MB card, PCI)

I''m getting a steady 8-9 fps on a PII 400, 256MB, 32meg TNT2.
