Help Help !
Ok so I'm starting to work on an independent study project, in which I'm making a music visualization program (similar to winamp/wmp, except mine will be 3d using opengl). Anyway, I'm having problems deciding how to capture/use audio and change my scenes/objects based on the captured audio. Should I try to use directShow? OpenAL? I looked at some directshow tutorialsbut they were kind of intimidating... I havn't been too involved developing in directx. Anyone here have experience with a similar type of project? Please advise.
