Aargh even nature tried to stop me writing this post (lost electricity twice). But I'm going to start programming a small MUD game. Only problem is that I don't have good idea for theme cause I think there is enough fantasy/cyber punk style MUDs already. So what I am asking is good idea for my game. And yes I will keep posting here as long as I proceed.

Star Wars space based? Something like Fallout maybe(post apocalyptic future)? Gangs(like GTA or something)?

Fruny, thanks that is _GOOD_ idea. But now I will leave. Maybe come online tomorrow (I'm currently in army (FInnish Defence Forces) so I might can't be able to inform anything in next 1-2weeks :|

I'm moving this to Game Design which is probably a better place for it. Good luck on finding that idea!

I love the caveman idea. My friends and I were thinking about that for an original movie idea. It could be an interesting game, and definitely unique.

years ago, when i was first getting into making games, i knew nothing about programming, and so was using free game making software. i made a text adventure in which you are a caveman, and have to find food and stuff without getting eaten by dinosaurs (yes, i know, men and dinosaurs never existed together). because of this, i say "goooooooo cavemen!" :-D

There's also a boardgame where you play a mammoth and you need to move the herd through seasons, searching for food and avoid cavesmen. Could be something to add to your mud.
