jeffie7 piano song
I was just doodling around on the piano tonight so I figured why not hit record and post it here for some reviews.
keep in mind all of this is being pulled from my butt I didnt plan anything I'm just doing nothing more then just "as I call it" hitting keys.

Well, I really have no business posting in the Music and Sound forum, but I really like it. Nice work.
God, your piano sounds beautiful. Are you using a synth? Digital piano? I'd love to know.
You doodle much better than I doodle. The recording was excellent. If I had to offer any constructive criticism, I'd say that there were a few places where it was slightly noticeable that you had lost a sense of direction in the piece, but since you were just doodling, that's perfectly fine. And you always managed to pick up a new phrase and work with it. Very nice work.
What key are you playing in? I know when I sit at the piano and just play around, I tend to end up in either B flat or E flat.

I really have no idea what key I was in I'd have to play the mp3 back to see where I started most of the time I just wonder around from one key to the next.
as far as synth I use a Yamaha Motif ES

I like your music Jeff,
It has a subtle quality to it that is uncommon with most of today’s tired, unimaginative, copycat-dribble that has become prevalent. Hopefully, you won’t get "tainted" by the masses and will stay true to your style.
Ever thought about releasing a solo piano CD?

Very nice. I'm curious - how much experience do you have playing the piano? I've just recently started playing again after about 10 years off, with the goal of composing my own game music eventually. Also, what style of music do you play that isn't your own compositions?
Sitting down and slamming out a bunch of nice themes is what I want to do, and you're doing it here. Very well, too. Keep up the good work.

Wow! Makes me want to learn piano myself! Suddenly my guitars dont sound as pretty and clean as they used to :)
Very nice job man!
I enjoyed the song, and all of the songs on your site. You're definitely very talented! Keep up the good work!

Just as a piano solo it doesn't really stay interesting too long, but if you added in some orchestral elements to it(strings, harp, oboe, flute...something) then you could make a great tune. Don't know about you but when I listen to it I can hear the orchestra playing in the BG and just really bring the song out much more than the piano alone can do.
Peace,
Zack
