Gamedev is seriously lacking articles regarding 2d sprites animation and that of sort. Does anyone know a good place that have info on it? I tried looking but none related to the gaming industry.

Yeah, I checked it before posting the question here on GDnet. All I found was a bunch of stuff related to 3d animation and not 2d.

Try GibSeek. Click on Creativity and Artwork. There are links to many, many sites there...most of them with excellent artwork, some of them with tutorials. Check it out.

Ahhh! Most of them are broken links!!! Something is wrong with 3dpalete.com and most of those sites are hosted by them! For the others, they either don''t have tutorials, articles etc etc or they have 3d stuff on it an no 2d. Thanks anways tho!

Thanks everyone but even those that have 2d stuff on it, it has nothing to do with game development. Guess the only thing left to do is to make a site of my own dedicated to 2d art used in the gaming industry. Anyone interested in helping???
