I think you'll have to be a little clearer in what you're trying to say if anyone can help you. As it is, I have no idea what you're trying to say. [repost]

Okay sorry... ill describe the first part if anyone can answer ill post second part... Okay i compiled my Mirage Source server and everything works... But the thing is i can't get on my server because there is no IP and Port changing thing.... so how can i make it that i can change the IP outside of the client?
Those are set from within the code - hardcoded if you will. If I'm thinking of the same Mirage, it's a very low quality VB6 MMO engine, correct? You'll need to make significant additions to the code if you wish to implement any of the other features you've asked about. You'll need to either learn to program (to a fairly proficient level), or otherwise find someone else who can/will do it for you.

Just a warning though, if you hadn't already realised, but Mirage (this is all on the basis that I'm remembering the same thing as you have) was a) incomplete, b) aiming for a reasonably low quality (oldschool 2d, no smooth scrolling, etc) game, and could quite possibly be more work to adapt to a workable project than building an entirely new engine (unless you happen to want exactly the features it had, but even those aren't complete - unless someone is updating it again now, last time I saw it it was abandonned).

Yep, I just checked, and Mirage is indeed the "engine" I was thinking of (I use quotation marks as it's really more of an extremely incomplete, buggy, and unoptimised game than anything), for anyone else interested, check the website where it's currently "maintained" (really just provided for download, they don't appear to be updating the source), here.

To the OP: Perhaps you could try the forums at the website I linked above, that community is supposedly dedicated to the Mirage Source, and should be able to help you if you'd still like to proceed with using it (I'd advise against it personally, but it's entirely up to you - you could produce a good game with it potentially with a lot of time and effort).
