A question about rotations with vectors/matrices
Hi
I've been doing a bit of research into vectors and matrices but I'm not sure how they relate to each other. I've read the FAQ on Matrices & Quaternions but I'm really still none the wiser. Basically I'm trying to rotate a spaceship which is viewed from above (y-axis). I can get it to rotate through the y-axis using vectors and eulur angles. But how do you combine this direction vector with a matrix? I want the craft to move in the direction it's facing but I'm just a bit stuck as to how to go about it? Are there any tutorials on this subject??
