need some help
Hello,
I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm
writing a thesis on group movement, tactical issues in games and
on the AI in RPG, FPS and RTS (not on the pathfinding etc., but
on very specific things depending on the type of game like team
based tactics).
Because I'm new in game AI, I would like to ask if someone knows
some good literature to compare different techniques.
I've already read some books and literature, but I mostly find
the algorithms and techniques very basic.
The books I've read:
Game Programming Gems 1,2
AI game programming wisdom (especially ch.5,8)
some articles I found on the i'net
I haven't read part 3 and 4 of the gems and part 2 of AI game
programming wisdom, because I don't have them at my disposal at
the moment and I don't know if they discuss deeper or better
developed techniques.
