Texturing & Animation Books
I have 'the darkside of game texturing, 2d artwork and 3d modelling, creating the art of the game' and a few other books. I really need to get better at texturing people for games more than anything else. I especially have problems with faces. I also want to get better at animating faces. Which of these do you think would help me with facial modelling/animation, and texturing characters and faces? [Some books claim to help in a certain area, but are really bad :(] Here are the books I was considering, if you know of any other books that may help me and are newer please let me know: 1. Texturing: Concepts and Techniques by Dennis Summers 2. Stop Staring: Facial Modeling and Animation Done Right by Jason Osipa 3. Game Art: The Graphic Art of Computer Games by Leo Hartas, Dave Morris 4. Digital Texturing & Painting by Owen Demers 5. Digital Character Design and Painting by Don Seegmiller 6. Building a Digital Human by Ken Brilliant 7. 3D Game Art f/x & Design by Luke Ahearn 8. 3D Graphics & Animation by Mark Giambruno I really wish they had a book that went through texturing characters for a game. thanks:P
