My college will soon be giving me the chance to go out on work experience or some form of work shadowing. Having already done a weeks work experience at a computer company two years ago, I was curious as to how open the UK games industry was to accepting work experience applicants. Apparently my college has been very succesful with placements and has in certain cases been able to send students overseas. While I do not expect to go to such extremes (not that I would pass up the oppurtunity to go to somewhere like LA for work experience:)), I would most definately be interested in doing a week or two work placement with a UK developer. Has anyone been able to do this? Is there anything I should be aware of or prepare, before trying to contact companies either through college or by myself? Thanks for the help! Adam
