This is a brilliant idea. Very very slick. =)

I know you aren't too big on adventure games, but this concept is really custom made for that genre, as they are all about picking up objects and using them in the right places to garner the right effects. The beauty about making this an adventure game too is that you could very easily do it yourself with one of the excellent adventure toolsets out there. In otherwords, this is an idea that actually could become a reality with a solid 3 to 4 months work on your part.

I know... but maybe in 10-11 months I'll not have the same spare time I have now, and if I start making an adventure game now, I'll lose a very valuable time for my RPG. Hence, I'll (maybe) not end my RPG. I'll have a (maybe cool) adventure game done, but it's not what i want to do.

However, if someone wants to take this concept and create an adventure game, just do it!!! Just mention me on the credits, ok? [wink].

PS: Thanks for the compliments and the link ^_^
