I don''t understand but all you people say that forte runs slow for you? Mine doesn''t on my PII 233mhz 96mb of ram with ICQ,AOL Instant Messenger,Norton Internet security,internet connection, napster,and my mp3 player running but maybe it is because I have Norton System works put the swap file at the top of my HD and optimized my registry.(My swap is 96mb as well) Can anybody think of a possible exclamation? besides mine I wish there was a button on my monitor to turn up the intellegince. Theres a button called 'brightness' but it doesn't work

I don''t think you are actually using Forte 4 Java. I''m most assured that said product would not run on a PII 233. Possibly you are running regular Forte. Or it is possible that since you are running 233 that all your applications are slow and you just don''t notice a difference.

I am guessing that some persciption drug you are taking prevents you from comprehending the passage of time. I''ve got a dual ppro 233 with 128megs of memory with almost 200 megs of swap file and I usually can finish a homework assignment while forte loads up. If it were not a quarter of the way to a new computer for me to purchase a 64meg gold edo/ecc dimm for my machine I would have more physical memory.
