composer wanting a bit of feedback

Hello people, I want some feedback on these tracks. I want to get involved in a project and I am interested if you think the styles in these tracks could work in a game. Each one is quite different so I would appreciate it if you try a bit of each. I'm also a singer and songwriter, mostly acoustic I don't know if there's potential in that for games but you tell me. I feel i can do alot more than just these tracks show and I would love the opportunity to create a score from scratch for a project. Simulations of Broken Toys was hella tight, probably the best song I've heard in this forum.

The other stuff I listened to (Node/ 2x3+1) was not at all bad, but generic and fairly boring when compared with Simulations.

yeh its a bit of a departure for me (simulations) but I like where its going. Well i shall press on in that direction and see what occurs and then bung it on here.

"Harmony is our friend" had a nice, almost african feel to it. By the name I was expecting some real harmonic motion, but there isn't really any at all, as it hangs on the same chord for all six minutes of the piece.

Really like Little Image, just looking through this forum, I've noticed a lot of the music is loud and high pitched like most background music in fast paced games. I think the slower, softer tunes like Little Image would work very well in a resting or city/kingdom type situation. It seems to me that kind of music is harder to find.

Liked 2x3+1, liked the rythm, sounded misterious, liked the way it gradually developed.
All the others, especially simulation of broken toys, were boring. Didn't like the rythm or lack of it, seamed confusing, hard sounds mixed with soft ones, in no aparent order, mixture of cultural sounds that didn't work for me.

Don't take my opinion too seriously i'm no music critic =).

2x3+1 sounds like a video game, alright. I get kind of turned off by anything, though, that uses too many arpeggios of triads just to fill space. Here you're slowly vamping on two chords. As with "harmony is our friend", I want to hear more harmonic motion if I'm going to listen for more than 20 seconds. I guess the problem is that if you restrict yourself to just two triads, even apart by a fourth, then you've only got about 4 notes you can play for melody, in which case you'll want to be throwing in more interest rhythmically, like with syncopation.

I listened to your tracks, they're not bad. They'd certainly be suitable as background music for games, but I think most of them are too repetitive to be listened to independently. The instrumentation is really good in all of them.
