Game Dev Chat - C'mon artists!
Some of you may know this, some of you may not... but! Gamedev has a chatroom on IRC (afternet.org server, #gamedev). Its a great place to hang out, chat with people with the same interests, etc. But, there aren't a lot of visual artists on there. Sometimes the conversation can get really bogged down in heavy programming jargon.
Any how, you should come in and participate in the chat and balance it out a bit more. I'm usually in there under some form of the name Kandolo-the-Irish-Artist.

The more the merrier.
For those of you without access to an IRC client, just try the GDNet Chat Network link at the top of the page, or use the applet on Afternet's own website (which IMHO is better) -- Java support required in both cases.
