There are two tools one is Quest3D and the other is Virtools. Which one is best for prototyping, graphics etc?

I use Quest3D for prototyping regularly and love it. The core of it is a drag and drop programming interface to DX8. Getting used to the graphical programming style takes time, but is worth it. Because you code and play simultaneously, you can experiment without getting bogged down in compiling/debugging issues. Quest3D's helpful online forum is a big bonus also.

Virtools looks good, but the price keeps me away.
