Just finished lesson 10... and i was wondering... is there a converter, or a plugin for 3ds max 6.0 that will let me export my models into a text format like was used in the tutorial? also... what 3d formats' does OpenGL support? (ascii[.ase], autocad[.dfx/.dwg], wavefront[.obj], 3dsmax[.max/.3ds] etc..)

Whatever file formats you can figure out how to load.

I suppose that sortof means that OpenGL supports NO format.

so basicaly, if i can figure out how to get it to load an ASCII format (which is the closest i can figure out, to the model data file used in lesson 10...) i can get my models to load into the openGL window i've been making, with the lessons?

thats gonna be a pain in the a$$...
