hello i know the smtp format... but how do i attach files to the email could anyone let me know where i may find the attachments protocol or anything ? thanks Arkon

I remember reading somewhere that attachments are actually sent in the e-mail-message as plain text, with some special characters in front of the data-block indicating that this is an attachment... But I don''t know anything more than that...

Check out the RFC for SMTP at the RFC page. That explains how to send mails, and I think the MIME RFC explains about attachments and stuff.
