critique this! yay
You might want to get something on there to critique, first?
Although I can say the forums are borked (titles don't appear unless you mouseover them and the columns don't work right -- IE 6.0 WinXP). The Maxedge logo is looking nice though and the colour scheme is good.

I meant the movie poster looking thing on the main page, maxedge.net I gave you.. this is the visual arts forum...
It's simple, it's clean-looking, it matches my gradient title bars. What's not to like?

Okay, so I don't really like the text.spaced.with.periods thing. I think it reduces readability... but to each their own.

I think it's definitely important to make sure your "under construction" graphic is cool looking, 'cause it's sure to be up there at least twice as long as you think. If I were you, I'd take the "late September" off and replace it with "soon," then you'll be good to go... or rather, not go. Indefinitely. ;)

(Note: This is not a personal dig, just a joke based on a more general observation. If you are one of those rare people who can make and meet deadlines, more power to you.)

True, but I.Like.It. I do that all the time.

Very movie-posterish, very good. Simple and clean, but the background grid makes it interesting at the same time. Much better than a lame bgcolor tag. Nice!
gsgraham.comSo, no, zebras are not causing hurricanes.
It's cool. But the style is somewhat old. IMHO, I think the artistic style is cooler than the photoshop-effect/gradient/fonts style.
