Believe me, no one could have been more anti-math than I was before I learned programming. When I started I wanted to just jump in, display some graphics, build a game right there. What I got instead was an in-depth description of how to print ''Hello, world" a half dozen diferent ways.

Gradually though, I slogged through it. I found that though I hated math, I loved logic! In the end I found I didn''t really hate math of course, I simply never had a use for it. Apparently trying to teach me something I''m not interested in and don''t have a use for is an extreme exercise in futility

Now if someone had told me back then "Algebra is going to teach you how to make games, trig is going to teach you how to create stunning 3D worlds on your computer" etc and showed me how to put it into use! I would have payed a great deal more attention

Not saying programming is for you necessarily, just do what you enjoy. Unfortunately sometimes you have to learn things you don''t enjoy to get to do things that you do

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
Never anger a dragon, for you are crunchy and you go well with brie.
