My computer gets the internet through a wireless network. I recently installed The Fedora Core 2 as a second operating system. My problem is that I can't get Linux to recognize my wireless adapter. My wireless adapter is a D-Link AirPlus DWL-520+. It does not appear on the list of wireless adapters in the Fedora network device setup utility. I tried choosing the default device and even other D-Link devices. However, no matter what I try Fedora says that it dosn't detect my wireless card. What should I do?
A quick google search brought me to this site: http://acx100.sourceforge.net/
They claim to provide open source drivers for Texas Instruments' ACX100/ACX111 based network interfaces. The card you have is listed as a ACX111-chipset based card, so maybe it could work. Good luck!
edit: Found this. It's for Mandrake but the instructions could be useful. Last update is 4 days ago so it's definately not outdated.
