Where shall I start?

Hello,everyone.I'm a newbie here.I will develop my net game next month.And where shall I start?(architecture,communication protocol,or something else)
If you are a complete newbie and haven't done any other coding before, I recommend you do that. Make a simple game or two.

If I'm underestimating you, then a good place to start would be the articles here at gamedev... you should be able to find enough stuff to get started.
