Recently I''ve been doign some sound effects for people online who were working on games. I have zero musical skill or talent but I have a great time making bleeps wooshes and explosions noises. Background machine sounds are a riot to do. Do game companies have people who do just that or is that usualy done bye the music staff? I realy have no interest in going into music, but could realy enjoy doing more audio stuff otherwise...
Of course! Many companies have two or three sound engineers (not including musicians), and most companies also have one or more music engineers.
