Ok this is a tuffie to write, and the ending still isn't quite right but I'm taking a break from this song for a minute, so if anyone has any comments on what i've got so far (its about 2 minutes long) let me know. Eventuially I'll convert this to midi but modplug sucks at that and the conversion process will take hours (unless someone knows of an SNES instrument pack floating out there). hey man...really liked the melody...flowed really well, didn''t get too repetitive...the only critisisms i have are one the accompianment could really benefit from some rythmic variation, here the harp really helps out with arpeggios against your bed...and the only other thing is to possibly change the melody instrument going from a flute to like a french horn or something...but we are all limited by the sounds that we have so...but bottom line i think the music is real good and that''s the most important part...

I''d say you definitely hit your goal of the SNES throwback. So much so it''s reminding me of things I''ve heard before... not so much one thing in particular, but a blend of a whole lot of others, from Star Fox to Illusion of Gaia.
