hello i want to develop Prince of Persia for mobile, i want to know its archictecture, how can i incorporate a sort of 3D view using 2D MIDP2, how can i simulate the movement of prince?how collision is handled with the walls( are these walls are made up of seperate pieces of blocks, or it is just one image?), how level maps are managed in files ? Bye
Heh. You don''t want much, do you?

I seriously doubt anyone on the dev team for PoP is going to just unload several megs of design and technical data for the taking, just because you don''t want to do your homework. Play the game, study it, analyze it, and try to figure out for yourself how to clone it. Then, build something original.

Lastest Prince?
If so, I have one advice learn something then laught at what you wrote.
Of course you could severaly degrade it. Will it be the same Prince after it?

the newest prince is beyond doubt a technological masterpiece. I thought at first that this thread was about the original sidescroller prince. If you don''t know what i''m talking about.. then like raghar said, learn something then have a chuckle.

Technically the original Prince of Persia was not a side scroller, since there was no scrolling at all in the game.

Some people refer to the transition effect in Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia 2 as "paged scrolling", though.

I think he wants to do this but with PoP:SoT (they need to make a sequel called Prince of Persia : The Atlantean Redux Terror )

Apologies to whoever it was that I stole the link off, in the Tetris In An Hour thread.
I highly suggest that you make the original Prince of Persia on mobile first. Unless of course you''re the CEO of a billion dollar company and are really bored.

Heh. Oh, man. I didn''t catch that until Fruny groaned.
