I was wondering what do the people on this thread would think what is the best way to get into making demos. Since most books are about making games, can you apply the same concept to making demos as you do making games. Is Nehe''s tutorials he best way to go about learing to make demos, and if anyone has a suggestion on a good book please post it... thankx
demos are all about creativity.. if you just use your imagination, a demo can be whatever you feel like.

Because of this, there's basically no book or tutorial which helps you make a demo. You can, as you mentioned, use experience from reading NeHe and various other article resources, to make a demo..

I use demos to learn what to do for games.

Find a concept(s) you want to learn and make a demo with it.
