I use Anjuta and i''m quite happy with it, except for the debugger (gdb - gtk debugger). The debugger is quite a pain, it wont let me see struct members'' values and the damn watch window is separate from the main window so when i click on the main one, the watch disappears. Also you have to load the executable in the debugger, it won''t do it for you...
It won''t automatically load the executable? What version are you using?

All I have to do is click "Start Debugger" then F5.

the debugger (gdb - gtk debugger)

the last time i looked gdb stood for Gnu DeBugger. I use Anjuta and have the same problem. That is because I use gdb 6, and Anjuta was supposed to use gdb 5.x. While I was using gdb 5 it worked with Anjuta.

I''m going to migrate to kDevelop as version 3.0 is released ( next week )

our new version has many new and good features. sadly, the good ones are not new and the new ones are not good
